Bill, Europeans pay per-minute phone charges for local calls whereas in the US unlimited local calls are typically part of an overall monthly flat rate phone bill. I guess that explains why MSFT has been more aggressive in European cable deals. MSFT realizes that you don't have to pay by the minute for cable access in Europe making it an attractive alternative and therefore a better investment.
