It sure doesn't take much to knock the price down anymore as
I understand it was caused by England announcing that they
would be selling their gold reserves. Thought the accidental
bombing of the Chinese embassy by Nato would have had some kind
of an effect. It seems that nothing short of a nuclear war will
cause people to take refuge in gold as a "safe haven" to invest.
Fortunately weakness in gold doesn't seem to affect diamond securities the way it used to.
