there are two sides to every coin

while we may be deluding ourselves into thinking that we are ending ethnic cleansing in Kosovo, we have also bombed that country back into the stone age, causing hundreds of thousends of refugees to pour over neighboring borders, and causing the remaining Kosovic citizens undue hardship as punishment for not opposing their totalitarian leader. A few U.N. members already this weekend have charged NATO with human rights violations for their police action. The point I am trying to make is NOT about the War, but rather that the American record on humans rights violation can no longer be held up to the World as an example at which they can self rightceously exclude others like China. As a taxpayer in this country I am disgusted by cost of this war, and the cost we will endure to clean up the mess we made. We could have found another way, but our Military and President needed a War to fight, and this was the only convienant cause on the Globe.
