Hi Steve:

Thanks for finding this article. I thought that Ensemble
was working on wireless IP, but it looks like its MAC can support
both variable and fixed (ATM) frames. I am also impressed by
a) the dynamic selection of modulation order based
on RF link quality, and b) the dynamic allocation of
BW to the downstream and upstream links, which allows both
symmetric and asymmetric link configurations.

I don't know if Ensemble will ever make it to the IPO stage.
Someone will probably try to buy it before.
