OK. But what do you get from the AOL software that you couldn't get without it? Do you consider this stuff to be a "killer app" that will allow AOL to flourish in the long term, Are you forgetting about the AOL chat rooms? Thats where the value proposition is apparently. I'm an avid reader and theres this aol book chat room that if you don't have you are at a major disadvantage with regards to all these book clubs. I don't have AOL but as a comparison look how many people try to start financial msg boards and none of them are even close to SI - motley fool, raging bull, yahoo you name it. Some of these had big $$ behind them too - once you have critical mass in your user population thats pretty much it. Edit oh yeah I forgot another one is this AOL christian singles chat room. There was an article in the paper the other day that some church groups are losing members because everybody is signing up for this AOL christian chat room. I guess those chat rooms are moderated?
