Bill, I think they have lost a lot of excellent reporters and have replaced them with folks who have yet to cut it. You look at the former roster, and I didn't agree with all of them, but the current bunch pales compared to Jim Grant, John Liscio, etc. Also, the round tables seem to have more non-entities on board. I dislike the guy, but the one with the most potential is probably JonThing Laing, whom I call the cub reporter. He is nasty and somewhat funny, and though he is a permabull, I would rather get angry with one of his articles than fall asleep with those written by others. I've noticed that the Abelson column really goes downhill when he's not there.
