That's a good one--- The CIA and the US are involved in that type of Chicanery all over this planet.... well, then I guess we don't have to worry about complying with international law, now do we?? Of course, you always have only found fault in the actions of the US, but never criticized the actions of dictators and despots. You point out merely the CIA, but disregard the so many other foreign intelligence agencies that act to subvert or influence these same despots and dictators in order to achieve influence. I guess a leftist government would never repress their own people in order to form a totalitarian, rather than merely an authoritarian regime. (btw, can you define the difference between totalitarianism and authoritarianism??) You simply continue to ignore the Machiavellian nature of international power relationships and how nations only adher to international law when it is in their interest or when the political pressures to great. Now you then have to ask which country has done more to establish an international system of government and conflict resolution. Hint: It sure hasn't been Russia or China.
