Holy Smokes! may have something to do with Jack Welch commenting on the Inuts. He is calling for GE to launch into (or takeover) defined areas of the internet. His philosophy is to be #1 or 2 in every area GE does business in. Guess that may spell takeover and big dollars spent... One note on Welch, he is retiring in 2k and, from what I understand, his goal is to double GE market cap by his retirement date. Would not want to bet against him ht david
