What got my attention on this stock is on 4/30/99 the director of the company bought 158,000 shares of
stock at an average price of $16.31 a share. A value of over 2.5 million dollars worth.

Heartland Express, Inc., a short-to-medium haul truckload carrier, provides nationwide transportation service
to major shippers. For the 9 months ended 9/30/98, revenues rose 3% to $201.1M. Net income increased 9% to
$24.8M. Revenues reflect an expansion of the customer base and increased volume from existing customers.
Net income also reflects lower insurance and claims expenses due to the lessor severity of claims incurred &
higher interest income.

I need to do much more research on this company.
I don't like the low volume on the stock so I will just put it
