From exchange2000.com Objective laws are based on reality, not subjectivism, whim, fancy, political pull, wishful thinking, dogma, tradition, mysticism or irrational theology.
And then from exchange2000.com Romanticism is also one of the keys to reaching beyond your grasp and achieving that which has not been achieved previously
Poor Terrence! Nobody could accuse you of consistency. Here you are arguing objective laws based on reality, but when confronted with the reality that science affords us, you switch to a defense of romanticism.
Which Terrence am I debating?
I will ask you a simple question. If the view I posited of animal behavior is true, then doesn't it follow that your libertarian philosophy cannot possibly be true because of the inconsistency of the objective truths of science and the implied romanticism of libertarianism? Aren't these views mutually exclusive? Will you, like religious fanatics, bend science to suit your philosophy?
