The TYX and NYSE chart on the MDA site is interesting. The interesting thing is that the 1998 crash/correction happened with falling interest rates unlike 87,90 or 94. Sometimes the interest rate is falling because of a rush to bonds and then the stock market goes down. At other times rising interest rates crash the market. Different causalities.

The up move so far is fairly small compared to 86-87 and in my analysis already hit the 34 week BB I follow. So I think we have some ways to run if we see an interest rate driven crash ahead.
