PiMac- Restrict the Franchise-

You know, money would not so readily buy elections if the electorate were not primarily comprised of people who made their voting decisions based on television advertisements and the like. That most of the electorate is in fact swayed by the highly charged 30 or 60 second polemics they see on the boob tube speaks to the thoughtfulness of our process of selecting political leaders.

I've been impressed on this thread to see the intellectual garbage that defenders of Sleazebag Bill use to defend their man. As long as such shoddy thinking predominates in the electoral process, we will have such pathetic, if telegenic "leaders" as Billary. That is matter of concern to those who value our democracy.

While I don't know exactly how to do it, I think the long term survival of our republic requires that the franchise be restricted in some reasonable manner. If that were to happen, elections could not be so easily bought.
