OT OT OT OT OT (I Guess)

Did anyone catch that US West piece? Thin Phone available mid May(now?) at a price of $99! As Maurice says, "they'll sell heaps!"(actually, it wouldn't be anywhere near as concise as that)

Nokia's 6185 has yet to appear in any warehouse, although they'll take your order and your deposit. It has been tentatively priced at $179 to $199. It weighs more and in most cases has a shorter standby than the Thin Phone(there goes the vaunted Nokia advantage). It is a tri-mode, dual band though, which is not offered by QCOM. Is there a market for such a beast? A small one perhaps, but that is unknown at this point. The StarTac is available costing from $299-$499 depending on the carrier.
