Hi Arnold,

I understand your question a little better now. It has not been stated here or anywhere else that I know of that the intent is to use a SOFC running at 600 or 900 degrees cel to power the drive train of a motor vehicle. What has been stated is that several automotive manufacturers are turning to SOFC development.

I personally don't know what the out put of SOFC are at lower temperatures. Regardless, recent advances has caught the attention of companies like Delphi, BMW, GM,Toyota etc.

I think for the immediate future SOFC's are more realistic then PEM.Which is why I have invested in SOFC companies. Time will tell.
