Jim,

My limit is imposed by my broker (WaterHouse).
The day trading (DT) power depends on my equity in the account.
It could be less or more than my buying power.
I don't know how their computer generates the DT power.

My trading style is not to use DT power more than buying power.
In case if I have to turn the day trade into position trade, I have
a power to do so.
