I'm a big fan of HdM, both Cuban and non-Cuban. This Excalibur line
is for the most part crappy. Uneven burns, crowning, plugs galore.
So far the #1 has been reliable, the rest are junk. I was so
disappointed that I complained to General Cigar.
Montecristo Arts
NetCigar crashed at this point and I was unable to continue
comparisons. Could only get an Error 500, HTTP Web Server: Lotus
Notes Exception - Too many open files, Lotus-Domino Release-4.6.4
Happened Mon May 10 10:47am ET. Guess all the bugs are still not
worked out. Anyway, I consider JR Cigar to be the leading competitor,
Famous Smoke Shop is good, and so is Holts. Have also done business
with Carona Cigar. Don't mean to slight any companies I have not
mentioned, just have not done business with them. I live where there
is no Cuban embargo, so I am more likely to order Cuban cigars from a
couple of favorite sites in Spain and Australia.
Anyway, to answer your question, they seem very competitive, but this
is the grand opening. |
