no. He did issue a sell signal at the bottom of the '87 crash (correction). Dec '96 Hulbert's Digest spells it out in more detail. It actually caused his portfolios to under perform many due to this but now the crash is outside most 10 yr statistics so it isn't recorded.

Large credit due Brinker for being a bull from 1990(when he went back to fully invested) until the present.

I always wonder what changed in the model to correct for this but my questions have never been answered and I would feel a heretic to call the show and ask what has changed in the new model.
