This is from Investor Business Daily's web site copy of tomorrow's paper:

International Precious Metals leapt 2 3/4 to 13 3/4 on six times its usual activity. The company's signed a letter of intent to buy property from Phoenix International Mining Inc. for $27 million in cash and shares. The stock's tripled in a week. On Monday the company said it knew of no material development to account for the activity.
