Guys... The following are NOT rumors, but facts obtained from the VASO salesforce. (1) FDA approved? Yes (2) Reimbursement? Yes... already, on a case by case basis. (3) Results of the multicenter trial? not now... results have yet to be submitted to the American Heart Association for November 97 presentation. Other results presented at the ACC? I have no idea. Now listen to that: VASO is going to start (or maybe has started) a reimbursment plan (full refund to the patient, I understand) if PTCA or CABG has do be done within 6 months of EECP treatment... Therefore VASO is still backing up its system and believe its efficacy... They probably know how good their system is... This information I obtained from their salesforce. I am actually, at this point in time, more interested at new benefits of EECP treatment, which probably will trickle in, one by one... (for example improvement in arterial insufficency of the legs, indications in some strokes, ear problems,...) Lastly, hoping for $8 is ludicrous at this point in time... just my opinion. Regarding rumors... could you tell us the name of the "new PR" guy?. This should be easy to confirm. FHG |
