Dear Richard:

Thank you for your support of MDMI, your comments are well thought out and it is good to hear some fresh ideas. I thought it might be helpful to let you know a little of my background so you could have a better idea of the context in which I am viewing MDMI.

I have been in the computer industry since my graduation from the University of Arkansas' MBA Program. I was a regional sales rep for Xerox Corporation and a national sales manger for Electronic Data Systems working for H. Ross Perot. I co-founded Intech Systems, which was ultimately sold to SMC a public company. Then I founded Spectrum Information Technologies, as Chairman/President/CEO I built it from $0 sales to annual sales of approximately $100mm. When I left Spectrum it had approximately $20mm cash, virtually no debt and annual sales of approximately $100mm. More importantly the basis of the company was a franchise network (computer bay) a proprietary products group, a direct sales group and a wholesale distribution group, all selling the same products.

I am trying to put together a similar structure for MDMI. A franchise group (Java Centrale) a direct sales group selling to national accounts and a wholesale group selling through hotels, restaurants, bars and cafés. All selling the same products, some proprietary, we are in the inceptive stage of this process but many of the pieces are now in place to begin implementing this plan. Clearly the Java Centrale Internet Cafe (JCIC) can be an important part of this plan as a captive channel of distribution for MDMI products.

I hope this is helpful information for you and please feel free to write us with your thoughts.
