There was a smart card company in Twinsburg Ohio (about 35 miles SE of Cleveland) They were bought out a year ago by a German Company. It has to be Gemplus. The company had gotten into many institutions around the Great Lakes. Such as Ohio State, Kent State, Cleveland State, some hospitals etc etc.
