I personally don't short stocks anymore because there are a lot of people who see this as a great opportunity to screw shorts. There are a lot of people with so little imagination. Its hard enough to make money on stocks but this one has so much shit on it that it is very risky. Besides, the institutions, in their eternal wisdom, may wait until the end of the year to liquidate on an odd chance that a runup does happen. Remember, CIBC Oppenheimer upgraded this stock last summer, proving the point that dirty tricks are not restricted to individuals.
