E*Trade broker told me timestamps are no longer used to allocate shares. I know we have heard this before, but this guy seemed pretty convincing. He said that the FCFS IPOs are killing their servers.

To prevent the bottleneck, they will have longer windows and a lottery type system. So I doubt E*Trade is getting a larger amount of shares, due to the long window.

The only way to put this to rest is for people to post timestamps, once they are allocated or not allocated shares.

The mystery continues...
