Your analysis of MSFT is accurate "through the rear-view mirrow", but those who have vision and commitment to invest in cutting edge technology companies with seasoned, quality CEO's like Barksdale or Courtot, at Verity will be rewarded. The companies that MSFT ran over in the past all had weak management as a common denominator. That scene has changed dramatically, as has the paradigm shift in technology. MSFT has fallen on it's sword and is limping. Sure they have resources and market share [so did IBM], so be careful concluding that just because a company is large, it is guaranteed success against all new innovators. Remember the U.S. television industry--name the companies who dominated it?
