Tench - It's my understanding that the about to be released (June) Microsoft Office 2000 is designed to take advantage of the expanded instructions available in the Pentium III. That being the case, performance differentials may swing towards the Pentium III, if Office 2000 is part of the benchmark. I'm pretty sure this is the case. Good investing, Burt
