MUSIC

There's music in my head
It's going round and round
At first I thought I was dead
Then I realized what I'd found

There's music in my head
I have it turned way up loud
I don't think it can be said
But it's made me very proud

There's music in my heart
And that's the very best place
I don't think it's left a mark
But it sure does have a great taste

There's music in my heart
And my veins are all a glow
Just like a cherry tart
It really makes my juices flow

There's music in my foot
And it's bouncing all the time
I don't know how long it took
But it's better than a glass of wine

There's music in my foot
And I bet you didn't know
Well, maybe you just didn't look
It's right there next to my big toe

There's music in both my eyes
Yes, a couple of notes in each one
And whenever the left one cries
The right one plays the blues for fun

There's music in both my eyes
And it's a great thing to see
But if my eyes were like a fly's
I'd have a whole damn symphony!

There's music in my soul
And that's the most important place of all
Even when I'm standing in a hole
It makes me feel ten feet tall

There's music in my soul
And when I'm dead and gone
After my body has turned to coal
I'll still be singing my favorite song
