I was at a satellite downlink site for the Jobs address. It was great! Very thorough. a couple of details I was struck by. Jobs nicely outlined Apples's elegant strategies - two consumer products and two professional products. The two consumer - the power book and the G3, and the consumer - the IMAC and a soon to be revealed consumer powerbook. Changes to barttery for new powerbooks means you can watch 5 hours of DVD movie Austin Powers! The new operating system OS X - Sonata - with its revised finder looks awesome. We can check out some enhancements to Sherlock in 8.6 upgrade available now. The streaming QT4 demonstration on the superfast equipment kicked butt compared with RNWK technology I've seen.I've been watching my dad struggle with pc based system for internet access. An IMAC with OSX will solve that problem with a "keychain" technology that saves your passwords. The hardware looks ergnomic and stylish. the software appears seamless and intuitive. I was impressed. This company is on a roll....
