RE: Message 9442838 Interesting, I solved the problem. I put the 5400 rpm vertical and the 7200 horizontal and solved the vibration problem. The 7200 rpm drive is an IBM 10 gig (nice and quiet) the 5400 is a Fujitsu 4.3 gig. The Fujitsu in a Dell box prefers the vertical position. No vibration. Weird.
