Rights plan is only triggrered if a bid is made for the company, nobody has traded away anything because a)hasn't been approved by shareholders b)no bid has been made for the company. The rights plan only kicks in under takeover conditions. The real question is WHY? the plan is needed now especially at this stage of developments.
