Back on 25 Feb. 98, when this thread was started, there was ONLY 5.9 mil shares outstanding on the company. Now 14 months later there is 17.9 mil share outstanding. This means somebody issued 12 mil shares and with a non-reporting company none of those have to be restricted. DTC only holds shares ok by the transfer agent as free trading. If your brokerage firm lets you put restricted stock up as part of the basis for a loan, the only way a broker can sell it, is if the loan was defaulted on. There is no short position on this stock, there can't be with someone sell close to a million shares a month. It's a good excuse for the stock not to go when there is some buying, but the real reason is someone is selling, and most generally it is the person of is screaming shorting. Most BB traders won't short more than 1 or 2% of the true float. They may go 3% if there is a lot of stock coming free so they have no concern about covering at a lower price.
