Thomas, all Nasdaq and OTCBB ticker symbols are unique. In the case of a potential overlap, Nasdaq usually "persuades" the OTC BB issue to change ticker symbol. As far as I can recall, the last time that happened was with the Vertical Net IPO (VERT) (one very lucrative IPO for which I retain very fond memories). Nasdaq did more or less force the OCTBB stock VERT to change its ticker symbol to VERI.
