As of two years ago when I was buying TVs for a living they were certainly being made in both Canada and the USA One other innacuracy in his comments, to my knowledge there are NO TV's that are manufactured in the USA anymore, TCE - Thomson Consumer Electronics who have the RCA and GE brand names for consumer electronics were manufacturing at keast the 27" TVs in North America. And it was more than just assembly - Granted many of the parts were asian. having said all that I thionk one of the plants may have been shut since I was in the biz
