Actually, I do not believe the TYX will close below 57.17 any time soon. In fact, several indicators I use (admittedly they were developed with stocks in mind) point to potentially strong moves in the immediate future.

I often use time series forecast (89 days) as an adjunct to other forms of support, resistance and trend lines. If valid for this point in time, TSF89 deliniates rather nicely recent resistance (now support). TSF21 crossed up through TSF89 today and this is often a useful signal (requiring confirmation) of a more sustained move.

Two days hence I think we'll know for sure.
