Tim, I always feel worse when i have "real" paper losses (whatever that means). Knowing that I can't sell and retain my original investment leaves me feeling a little discomforted. Having said that, IMHO your ok. I don't think anything fundamental has happened to Atmel that warrents trading under a PE of 13 (based on last years or even projected earnings in light of the earnings news.). As I said earlier, the historical low on their PE is around 11 so I think we are hitting bottom. There could still be about 10% more downward movement, but that may only occur due to an overall market move, which I believe unlikely for another few weeks. Having made their earnings pre-announcement we may not see much movement on actual earnings day. I'm still going to hang in there as well (even though I bought at 40). I'm still hopeful for a recovery by third quarter. Good luck! TEC
