Don't blame management. It's my friend who is responsible for this gloom.

My friend (let's just call him Deadweight) is an investment novice who has been losing on every single trade over the past year. He bought into TDFX. DOWN big time! DIMD. DOWN! ELY. DOWN big time! AFCI. DOWN!! MSPG. Down while he was holding, and shot up after he sold. NAVR at $16. DOWN! IFSX at $18. DOWN, DOWN, DOWN!!!!!$#@$%W#^@ Overall he is down 75%.

I tipped him on DBCC last Christmas, but he didn't buy. THANK GOD! So thinking he can't possibly weigh down on NAVR, I convinced him buy in. (He didn't buy my other backdoor play, IDTC, which has doubled for me.) I am so sorry, everyone!

I recently pleaded to him to sell at a loss and offered to pay him the difference. No go. He is one of those stubborn SOB who normally wouldn't even consider selling until he is 30-50% down. With his purchase price, NAVR will have to drop to $8!!!

Deadweight! I am convinced if I can turn him loose on AOL and other high flyers, I will stand to profit tremendously with a short position. His negative correlation with stock performance never cease to amaze me. I don't think we can win in spite of him.

Will try to talk him out of NAVR again tonight with a bigger bribe. Wish me luck.
