It really doesn't matter what Jason thinks,

The future isn't about the OS my friends.
The OS will be like the browser, given away for free.

I sure hope MSFT's "contemporaries" are not planning on fighting the wrong war once again. MSFT unlike most "empires" has shown an ability to remake itself.
