Keep an eye on the date this is expected to close.
I noticed a lot of accumulation of shares from the houses involved in this private placement. These houses next step is to ensure that the stock stays far ahead of the warrant price prior to the last day before they can exercise their warrants.
Go look at BII prior to Nov. 30 1998 and then middle of Dec.
Go look at MCF middle of April compared to a couple of weeks ago.
I think we will see some strong price appreciation followed by weakness once the warrants are exercised.
My only conclusion is that grab as many shares as you can and then well you know what.

"The proposed sale of the special warrants is subject to the approval of the Vancouver Stock Exchange and all other applicable regulatory approvals and is expected to close on or before May 28, 1999."
