Whatever one may say about "overseas deals" - it is blindingly clear that that's where MSFT's future growth lies. US has a population of under 300 mil. Granted, it's one of the most information technology dense country on earth, but c'mon - there's 5 billion people out there. Just like KO - that company could not grow unless it grew internationally. The handwriting is on the wall - MSFT ***MUST*** meet the challenge of growing in international markets, however hard it may be. Otherwise, it'll necessarily slow it's growth, if it can only rely on the US. If you want to see MSFT as an multitrillion dollar company in market cap, there is only one way to do it - conquer international markets.

Blankmind is absolutely right - the future is global.
