Jon: DataBits listens to everything everybody has to say.

We all have our methods and opinions on investing. WallStreetTips offers timing advice and/or stock picks. WallStreetTips posts are interesting because he specifies when to buy or sell and at what price. This makes his posts fairly unique but does not cause DataBits (or probably anybody else) to blindly jump into positions without considering the investment.

I find several SI members posts valuable. In particular, I favor Ron Reece's TA and RTev's stock/company analysis.

DataBits would never buy a stock because a post stated "STRONG BUY" or "SUPERB STOCK". If I did, I would own most stocks discussed on SI when in fact I own a select few.

Have you fallen victim to such posts in the past?
