Well, at least they're in good company with IBM. But the name of the guy (not the company) bringing the suit rings a vague bell. I recall reading something several years ago about people who make a bundle (and one man in particular was used as an example) by filing patents for products that are never actually produced or sold. Then they claim that one small (and usually pretty generic) part of the patent has been infringed by someone making a similar product. Often the companies sued settle simply to be rid of the nuisance.

Could be completely wrong, but this sounds kinda fishy.
