RESEARCH ALERT - Volpe restates buy on Internets SEATTLE, May 10 (Reuters) - Volpe Brown Whelan & Co. repeated a buy rating on Amazon.Com Inc. <AMZN.O> and other Internet stocks Monday, saying a recent weakness in the sector presented a buying opportunity, analyst Derek Brown said. Brokerage also reiterated a buy on eBay Inc. <EBAY.O> and ETrade Group Inc. <EGRP.O>. On average, Internet stocks were trading at 56 percent below their 52-week highs, Brown said in a note issued before trading opened Monday. Amazon.com was up 9-1/8 at 145-1/2, eBay was up 18-13/16 at 195-1/2 and ETrade up 9 at 119-3/8.
