NetMoves and Xsoft Provide Internet Document Delivery Solution for Courts

County Records Just a Click Away for Alabama Residents

EDISON, NJ--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 1999--NetMoves (NASDAQ NM: FAXX - news), the global leader in Internet Fax, announced that Atlanta-based software developer Xsoft, Inc., has integrated Internet Fax into its ImagePro indexing and imaging solution for the County Probate and offices of the Circuit Court in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.

Using NetMoves' ServerLink API, one of the many tools available to developers requiring advanced fax solutions, Xsoft has made it possible for residents and other visitors to click on the county's website, search for a document, and complete an online document to receive the document as a fax. Traveling to the courthouse, locating a clerk for assistance, and reading documents in a crowded record room are ways of the past.

''NetMoves provided us with their developer's toolkit on a joint project to add Internet Fax capabilities to ImagePro, our award winning Land Records Imaging System at the County Courthouse in Tuscaloosa, AL (http://www.tuscco.com),'' explained Miles Dempsey, President of Xsoft, Inc. ''Not only was the software easy to understand and well-documented, it worked exactly as advertised - not a common occurrence in the software world. We fax-enabled the Web component of ImagePro in less than a week, with only one developer!''

Xsoft applied ImagePro, its powerful imaging system, to automate and enhance search capabilities so the general public could locate documents at the County Probate and Circuit Court Offices without actually going to the building and asking for help. By applying Remote Dial-Up Searching and Internet Searching capabilities to county documents that are now stored on Optical Jukeboxes -- multiple users can access the same data simultaneously (as opposed to having to share the same physical documents) and physical storage space is unnecessary. By electronically indexing documents like property deeds, liens, and titles, county clerks are able to index 600% faster and have increased their productivity by 40% -- freeing them to perform
duties more important to the county.
