Larry, what I find notable is that I first heard a 500 million watt hour estimate last December when we were counting 28 million shares.

Since then, the share count has increased slightly. Valence lately patented their phosphate formula which should add about 40% to the stored energy capacity per battery.

Since the batteries are valued according to their stored energy in watt-hours, a 40% increase in value more than offsets the effect of a 10% share dilution(3 mln shares offered at $16.66 to raise $50 million). It should also more than offset the effects of a 20% or a 30% share dilution etc.

The superior performance should, arguably, accelerate market penetration. The likelyhood that many portable computer, camcorder, and digital camera users etc might be willing to pay a premium for batteries that give them twice the run time should tend to accelerate market size.

Their $5 billion market size number is apparently for current conditions. The $8 billion market size I heard and recently posted for estimating "almost $700 million" in potential royalties at 8% would appear to apply to year 2000 or 2001.

PS- I'm glad to hear you might be tempted to get back in!
