I called an the investment analyst department from one of the big investment firms (ML) that Cascade had listed on their home page in the investment relations section and was surprised when they said that they were now cautious towards Cascade. First they said that they had a meeting YESTERDAY with Cascade officals. They cited information that some segments of their product line were under intense competition from some of the other big players. Cascade was at one time the best and about the only kid on the block. Thats why they got ahead of some other companies, such as in FR. However, now there is intense competition for this market and Cascade has lost some ground recently. They however were not worried about insider sales. The few that have taken plave, CEO & VP of sales, were of no concern to this analyst. They said that the big insiders were NOT selling. The big thing that they said was "caution". Cascade seemed to be suffering some slowdown in their sales in certain important lines (they did not say which - maybe FR?). They said that Cascade had some really great products out there that they were selling as fast as they could make them - not yet able to keep up with demand. All in all, it sounded negative (cautious) short term, but hopeful (cautious) long term - if that makes any sense. I do not know if that is right or not. Personally I am spooked by their continued weakness, but I am long on this stock and will stay that way for the time being. More guts than brains maybe, but still long. I am just sharing this information that was shared with me. Call some of these analysts yourself and share what you find out with us all. Maybe others feel differently about this stock. I hope so!! Not trying to influence anyone else. Just thought sharing what ML told me would be helpfull. Jeff
