Les, Interesting that Chris Matthews read the MacNamara book. The other night on the tube I saw Henry Kissinger on some talk show. He dismissed the book by MacNamara saying "Robert took the war too personally and it has compromised his understanding". Of course I can't produce Dr. Kissinger's thick German accent but it really underscored the point. The most interesting thing about Henry Kissinger is that he stated that he is totally against this war in Yugoslavia, says it could have been delt with in diplomatic fasion but that Clinton has more or less lost his mind. I couldn't stop laughing even though it really is pretty sad. We are destroying Yugoslavia in order to save it. The "Waco" method of crisis management. -John
