can't help you there, pal. are you thinking it's a scam a la pairgain? No, I think it is either due to the way the news services work (they don't scan releases for non-US companies??) or the way that TD releases announcements. Another stock I own (AWRE) used to release lots of stuff and it would never hit the news services. That changed when AWRE became a market darling, but when it was relatively unknown their releases almost never appeared under AWRE on Yahoo! This story is not a TD release, though, so it must have something to do with the way the news services scan for stories.
