Grok, re Life Foundation Trust, I spent some time last night and today looking for signs of life. The closest I got to that name was equinenet.org, but it's based in California and deals with saving horses, and, sadly, the woman running it recently died of cancer.
I called the FTC and, unlike the SEC, they will tell you if they've gotten calls about the company. In this case, yes they have. But that's about all they'll tell you.
I also have a call in to the AZ Secretary of State's Office Department of Records. In order to be considered "non-profit" they would have had to have applied for that status. So far no call back.
Yes, I did "call the company", as in the IR firm. The guy there said he had gotten about 30 calls asking for more info on the foundation but had none to offer. He, himself, had somehow thought the foundation was based in Vancouver, but when I pressed him on why he said perhaps because a caller mentioned it and he just assumed it was true. Yes, I thought he was being sincere as he didn't at all try to obfuscate.
I'd say based on my experience with leopards not changing their spots that hitsgalore.com is headed for the scrap heap. I see that some of the brightest minds on SI have been looking at this company so I doubt any stone will be left unturned.
If the Life Foundation is an illusion, you can bet HITT will get hit-- as in knocked out cold by the SEC. Longs beware.
