As you might expect it, I'm still thinking about the bombing of the two US embassies in Eastern Africa... Nothing has changed to make me discard my first theory: I don't believe that the culprit is O. bin Laden. In 1996, Denard was arrested for his 1985 successful coup in the Comores but he was condemned to a probationary jail sentence of 5 years (if I remember). So, basically, he's been on the loose from 1996 until earlier this month. The guy used to travel between South Africa and the Comores Islands where he still has some interests (real estate, vacational resorts, etc.). These Comores Islands are, btw, ideally situated: halfway between Madagascar and Tanzania, with regular flights between the main Island and both Nairobi and Dar es Salaam...
Well, I'll see if I can find some info re: TSI, the US telco outfit that has invested over (80% of) $240M in Afghanistan.
