News Just out!
SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 1999--COSMOZ.com, Inc. (OTC BB:CMOZ) announces that it has purchased a 49% interest in the www.MBMagic.com website for restricted shares in the company. Cosmoz.com also has the right to purchase the remaining 51% interest in MBMagic.com, for restricted Cosmoz shares, upon MBMagic.com achieving specific traffic and revenue levels. Similar to other Internet Community based websites such as GeoCities (NASDAQ: GCTY) and Xoom.com (NASDAQ: XOOM), www.MBMagic.com is a Free Multi-Purpose Internet Community and Message Board Service. MBMagic, which stands for "Message Board Magic," was recently completely redesigned and re-launched with the assistance of the Cosmoz.com team. The MBMagic theme and slogan is "Share Your Opinion, Speak Your Mind." MBMagic.com promotes open and interactive online conversation on a wide variety of current event topics, which are organized and easily navigated through eight channels or search facilities. MBMagic.com also offers a variety of interactive polls and features designed to enhance the useability, creativity and enjoyment of the users experience. MBMagic.com users can start their own message board, participate in an ongoing conversation or relax and observe what others opine on topics such as Current Events, Technology, Investment, Entertainment, Sports, Lifestyle, Health and Hobbies. Additional features such as real-time chat and games are also planned to be added to the website. MBMagic.com is being acquired to advance three Cosmoz.com Strategic Initiatives: First, MBMagic.com is an attractive, exciting and fast loading website which offers interactivity, commentary and current information. MBMagic.com will be aggressively marketed to become a popular destination for a wide demographic audience. The resulting high traffic, niche market web based service should produce a loyal customer base and growing advertising revenues as a stand alone web based business. Second, MBMagic.com will add significant traffic, revenue and content value to the Cosmoz.com Portal Website. Interactive Message Boards, Forums, Chat and Community based websites are among the most widely visited internet affinities. It is essential to Cosmoz.com's growth strategy to be able to offer so called "sticky sites" like MBMagic.com. A variety of cross promotions will also be available to the Cosmoz.com Network of Websites. Third, MBMagic.com will become the platform for developing proprietary Investment Forum Message Boards for the InvestorsGuru.com and BuckInvestor.com Financial Websites. These Investment Forums will be accessed through and maintain the look and feel of InvestorsGuru.com and BuckInvestor.com. In addition, hundreds of other financial websites, which do not have message board technology, can sign up through MBMagc.com's affiliate program to join its Investment Message Boards. A template is being designed to easily and quickly allow other websites to customize background colors, fonts and other features such as uploading logos and graphics. Cosmoz.com recognizes that several investment forum services have message boards on the same stocks, but investors generally go to the busiest message boards first, such as SiliconInvestor.com which is owned by Go2Net (NASDAQ: GNET) and RagingBull.com which is partly owned by CMGI Inc., (NASDAQ: CMGI). Our strategy is to pool the message board traffic from hundreds of financial websites into the same stock forums, towards creating the Largest Online Investment Message Board Services.
