andrew look into brkb...it is around $1200 per share.... buffett said he wouldnt buy about or over a year ago....when brka was $38,000 per share....it then went down to around $31,000 and is back around $36,000.....so it had a 18% decline....as did brkb....it went under $1000.....so that point imho is misstated by the press......without the details.....as an owner i hope it is an inv. that will benefit me via his or successors performance.....although i dont seem to gleen anything from his fame....ha.....ha.... call brk in omaha and ask for the pkg that has old shareholder letters....they have a couple of booklets......as one inv adv. told me if you want to learn about investing read these over....and over....and over......and over.....every time you get something from it....he still does a couple of times per yr........ re: stocks that look cheap i dont have too many.....in fact i would say look at utek.....i think it looks great long term...i also own a good amt of txt.....i also own some small cap issues.....one that i like is ncci and the ncciw (warrants)....again these are my opinion....and there is risk....esp. in the small cap arena....i try to take what i learn from fishers writings and apply to small caps.....by the way p/up fishers bk in paperbk at barnes & noble.....common stocks, uncommon profits....buffett likes fisher..... lars
